The very first mobile phone lane in the world has started in the city of Chongqing, China. Mobile phone addicts get their very own 100ft lane specially designed with words “Cellphone walk in this lane at your own risk” while the “No cellphones” lane next to it is also created for people who are in a hurry.

Mobile phone users are required to follow the directions of the arrows on the ground to show them where they are heading to while paying attention to their mobile devices.

Despite that, the officials in China stated that this was to remind the citizens that using mobile phones while walking is not advisable.

What do you think of this unique venture? Would you support this idea if this started in your country?
