Player-chairman of the non-league side, Hull United has offered to supporters £2 to come to the team’s first home match of the 2014/15 season.

Hull United is a relatively small team, which plays in the Humber Premier League, one of the lowest leagues in the English football league pyramid. This Wednesday they will be taking on Hedon Rangers in their home stadium, Dene Park.

Jamie Waltham has spoke to BBC Radio Humberside, offering the fans an incentive to attend the game, paying each supporter £2.

He also added that there would be drinks on promotion at the game.

He has claimed to be a huge fan of non-league football and the endeavours it carries.

Last season Waltham took over charge of the side and revamped it, changing its name from St. Andrews

The team started the season with a impressive 3-0 win against Hessle Rangers last Saturday
